RUMOURS: Man City plan £50m Van Dijk bid but face PSG competition

Pep Guardiola is in the market for defensive reinforcements and discussions regarding a move for the Netherlands international during the January transfer window are said to have already taken place.
The Premier league title hopefuls are, however, set to face competition from domestic and European rivals for the 25-year-old centre-half.
Liverpool and Manchester United have been while the Daily Star reports that Ligue 1 champions Paris St Germain are also weighing up a winter approach.
