‘Ibrahimovic is playing? Shit!’ – Hamouma not looking forward to Zlatan reunion

The Swede has scored 17 times in 14 matches against Saint-Etienne, so it's no surprise he won't be particularly welcomed at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard

Zlatan Ibrahimovic might be regarded as one of the most exciting players in world football, but Saint-Etienne’s Romain Hamouma is not looking forward to facing the Swede again.

The striker scored twice when the Old Trafford side defeated Sainte 3-0 in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 encounter, and has scored 17 times against Les Verts – his favourite opponents.
Winger Hamouma was clearly hopeful that Ibrahimovic would not travel for the return leg on Wednesday, and made little secret of his disappointment when he was told the Swede will indeed be present.
“Ibrahimovic isn’t playing, right? He is? Shit!” he told the media. “I mean, what can you say?
“How many goals has he scored against us? 17, right?
“What do you want me to say!?”
Hamouma impressed in the first leg and is tipped to start at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, where the hosts apparently need a miracle to progress.
