Former Chelsea star Didier Drogba is set to continue his playing career in the North American second division, according to the Pioneer Press.
The 39-year-old is close to signing with USL side Phoenix Rising, where he would join former England international Shaun Wright-Phillips. Drogba spent the last two seasons with the Montreal Impact, scoring 21 goals in 33 appearances for the MLS club.

MONACO REJECT £96M PL MBAPPE BID

Monaco have turned down a world-record £96 million (€110m) bid from a Premier League club for teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe, according to AS.
The 18-year-old is also a target of Real Madrid following Mbappe's excellent performances for Monaco in Ligue 1 and the Champions League. Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United have also been linked with the French attacker.
